How to reach the desk that handles requests, and what to send with one.

How Requests Are Handled
Submit the make, model and last calibration date for each instrument, along with the required turnaround. Nothing is scheduled or shipped until a quotation is returned and accepted. Portable arms and gauges can often be sent in; bridge and gantry CMMs are typically scheduled for on-site service. Do not ship an instrument before a quotation has been accepted — unscheduled items delay the queue for every customer booked that week.

General questions are answered by return. Requests that need a price go to the quotation desk and are answered in writing. The request a quote page lists what to include — send that much and the first reply is the quotation itself.
What to Include
Form submissions land with the desk that handles requests. Because the specifics arrive with the message, a written request moves faster than a call. If the query relates to work already in progress, include the reference number.
Have an item to price?
Send the item, the measurement points, the tolerances and the turnaround needed; the quotation follows in writing.
