Programs Built From the Print
Part programs are built from the drawing, the CAD model, or both, and matched to the probing system installed on the machine. Datums, feature tolerances and GD&T callouts are coded directly from the controlled print, not from a prior program assumed to still be correct.
Existing programs are revised when a fixture changes, a probe is swapped, or a GD&T callout is updated on a revised print. Each revision is tested against the physical part before it replaces the version running in production.
